flattrack in sweden tomorrow !

"Saturday, September 22 Mellan 1400-1700 runs Sweden's first sanctioned Flat track racing at Nyköping. FMX daredevils meet MX riders face Long the bane World Champion, Ice racing drivers, back champions, speedway pro, motard elite. Ultimate racing that will prove who is the meanest drivers on two wheels. There are 24 riders running 3 heats each, 8, in each heat for 6 laps, concluding with an A, B, C, finals. During the day Rack Arty trail display and Sweden's leading FMX team Skilled FMX showcases its spectacular mini flips landing on flat ground after a backflip. Flat-track and FMX Sweden are working to pave the way for two outsider sports in Sweden. The aim of the events is to create a platform for future Swedish championships." Last race of the year , and what a belter !
Boastie winning the final in his last year at the helm , Tom Wooley providing the entertainment too !
Great racing and nice to catch up with the guys , being out for a year due to injury .
Interesting mix of bikes and people as usual .
Next year the club becomes just that .. a club run by it's members , Anthony brown presiding initially , and it should be another great year -so get yourselves down and see some racing .
Dec 27th is the indoor race again , see shorttrack uk website for info , get tickets early as it's sold out previously !

Choppers and Hotrods come together for a psychadelic weekend in Bedford ! We took our 70's survivor Mercury custom , donned some flares , cultivated some facial hair and trucked on down there !
Bands included Magnum 500 and the Black bullets , Metal flake paint was all the rage , man .
